Hi,

WordPress 3.3.1
OS Ubuntu 12.04 desktop 64bit

After installing blackbird theme
-> Activate
Only a blank screen displayed.

Then on login WordPress also only a blank screen displaying. It seems searching for something.

I have to remove /usr/share/wordpress/wp-content/theme/blackbird
to make WordPress working again. Otherwise only a blank screen displayed after login.

Please help. TIA

  Hi Stephen! Im sorry to hear your site break! I did a searching for your problem and maybe you can be helped with this White screen after activating a theme and after reinstalling.
  
  I also see that that InkThemes have a support forum where you mabey can find some answers here – BlackBird WordPress Theme. Or try to find a solution searching for same problem on Google or other search engines. I hope this can solve your problem.

I have been encountering this problem a couple days without a solution. Also I have been googling arount discovering many theads having similar problem.

  WordPress is an outstanding CMS, but you can sometimes run into big problems. If you can not find a solution, you may have to re-install WordPress again. Best of luck.

    (running as VM on Oracle VirtualBox
    WP – 3.3.1
    
    Freshly installed WP
    
    Install themes -> Blackbird
    
    Problem still remains with a blank page started. I have to delele blackbird folder/directory to get Dashboard back

      Hi Stephen! Great you have the dashboard back. Do not install the theme Blackbird more times. I hope you can find a better theme than this. Good luck man..

        I found out the cause. Blackbird theme doesn’t work on verion 3.3.1. It works on verion 3.5.1. Now it is running here without blank page
