10 New Impressive Free WordPress Themes with Minimalist Design for January 2015

Every month, I usually summarize a list with 10 of the best (my opinion) free WordPress themes released in the month that has passed. This month is no exception. I have put together a bunch of really great themes in the list today.

When I looked at the possible candidates for this month’s themes I realized that many of them were created with minimalist designs. Which is a theme style that I really like and appreciate.

So I decided that this month’s collection of free themes would consist only of themes with minimalist design. Which meant unfortunately that some great themes were not included in today’s article. But they will be presented in another post.

You have probably heard the phrase “less is more”, and I can not agree more when it comes to certain themes with minimalistic design. The themes in today’s list is beautifully designed with an elegant and minimalist look and feel. 1. Wow really your free word press template is so beautiful. Overall your template designs and out looking is perfect. Nice Collection. I want to use one of them for my website.

  2. Sorry Peter, I can’t agree with you on this one. I think minimalistic themes are boring and lack creativity. Many of the free themes on the internet these days, look like they have been completed by high school students, not professionals. There are some talented web designers out there and some really good free themes too, but not mentioning “some great themes” in your article defeats the purpose of showcasing the best for the month. Stick to the best ones, and save the “themed” articles for another post.

    • Hi Mike! I really like minimalist themes and I know not all people share my opinion, which is understandable. But the month’s themes consisted mostly of themes with minimalist design. So I made an exception and chosed to include only these themes. But I can agree that they would be categorized under a different title. I’ll certainly take it under consideration for the next monthly summary with the best free WordPress themes. Thanks for you comment. Appreciated.
