Twenty Fifteen – The New Default Theme in WordPress

WordPress version 4.1 was released a few days ago and I hope you have updated to the latest version. There are a lot of news and great stuff included in this release as I summed up in the post – WordPress 4.1 “Dinah” Released, What’s new?

Takashi Irie have designed Twenty Fifteen, after being asked by Matt Mullenweg and they’ll have competetive collaborating with Ian Stewart to make this theme ready to take off.

You find the new default Twenty Fifteen theme under appearance tab, themes in your WordPress dashboard. Click to preview or activate the theme. You’re set and ready to go!

The things I like Twenty Fifteen is that it is a blog focused theme with minimalist and spacious layout. It features a clean and responsive design. Your website will look perfect from desktop to mobile and everything in between. The theme will adapt and adjust to fit in any screen.

You can use the Customizer to edit, modify and customize the theme as you like. Check out the five free featured color schemes and colorize the theme to your taste and liking.

Twenty Fifteen comes with support for two menus in two locations. They are displayed in the sidebar just below the website title.

I like Twenty Fifteen and I think tons of users will use this theme because it is a beautifully designed, fully functional and is suitable for a lot of  bloggers.
